If you can’t hear all the words when native speakers speak to you that might be because we are not pronouncing these little common words in the way that you expect us to.

Small words like    can,    do,   you,   and,  an,  the,   for,   of,   from,   to   and many many more….     sound very different when they are unstressed words in a sentence.   We pronounce them in a reduced, weak way.
